The Caminhada Trilhos da Vila Presépio – Alenquer is a hiking event taking place on December 7, 2025, in the historic town of Alenquer. Participants will enjoy a 13 km trail with 500 meters of elevation gain, rated with a difficulty level of 3 out of 5.

The IV Caminhada Trail da Salamandra is a trail walking event scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Penina, Faro, Portugal. It features two main distances: a 10 km trail walk and a 16 km trail walk, both predominantly taking place on protected natural trails of the Rocha da Pena Landscape, including paths around the village of Penina and Quinta do Freixo.

This event is open to all participants aged 18 and above, with those aged 14 and older allowed to participate in the walk with a signed consent form from a legal guardian. The event is designed to promote sport and culture in the region, emphasizing respect for the natural environment, and is supported by local authorities and the community.

Participants will experience unique natural landscapes with mountainous terrain and significant elevation changes. The atmosphere is community-oriented and respectful, focusing on fair play and environmental care, with no competitive classification or timing, making it suitable for both casual and serious trail walkers.

The 8th São Macário Ultra Trail (SMUT) will take place on November 8–9, 2025, in Sul, São Pedro do Sul, Portugal. Organized by GTT.SPS – Grupo Todo Terreno São Pedro do Sul, with the support of the local municipality and regional associations, the event explores the rugged and scenic Serra da Arada (São Macário), part of the Montanhas Mágicas.

The program includes four distances: the Ultra Trail (49 km, +3200 m D+), the Trail (29 km, +1600 m D+), the Trail Sprint (19 km, +870 m D+), and the Mini-Trail/Walk (9 km, +250 m D+). With varied levels of difficulty, from beginner-friendly hikes to demanding endurance challenges, the SMUT is designed for trail enthusiasts of all levels.

All races start and finish in Sul village, combining a festive community spirit with a demanding mountain running experience in central Portugal.
