Cascais Christmas Race

The 3rd Race 25/26 – Circuito de Atletismo do Barreiro is a cross-country running event scheduled for December 1, 2025, in the Mata Nacional da Machada near the Environmental Center. This race is part of the broader Circuito de Atletismo do Barreiro, allowing participants to engage in multiple races throughout the season with a single registration and bib number.

The São Silvestre Cidade de Ermesinde 2025 is a running event scheduled for December 1, 2025, in Ermesinde city. It features a 10 km competitive road race and a parallel 5 km non-competitive walk, both starting and finishing in front of the Junta de Freguesia de Ermesinde. The race is open to men and women aged 16 and older, while the walk welcomes participants of all ages, with minors requiring adult accompaniment and authorization. This event is a city race through urban streets, offering a festive and inclusive atmosphere. Teams can register with a special offer where every 11th runner is free for groups of 10. The walk complements the race, making it accessible for families and less competitive participants.

The Trilho dos Cágados will return on December 1, 2025, in Vila Chã de Ourique (Santarém), offering athletes and walkers an authentic trail experience with distances for all levels. Organized by Trilho dos Cágados VCO, the event combines community spirit, challenging trails, and a festive atmosphere.

Participants can choose between the 26 km Long Trail, the 18 km Short Trail, the 12 km Mini Trail, or a 12 km Easy Walk. With varied routes featuring elevation gains between 205 m and 1,150 m, the courses take runners through rural and natural landscapes, supported by well-placed aid stations.
