The IV Caminhada Trail da Salamandra is a trail walking event scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Penina, Faro, Portugal. The 8th São Macário Ultra Trail (SMUT) will take place on November 8–9, 2025, in Sul, São Pedro do Sul, Portugal. Organized by GTT.SPS – Grupo Todo Terreno São Pedro do Sul, with the support of the local municipality and regional associations, the event explores the rugged and scenic Serra da Arada (São Macário), part of the Montanhas Mágicas.

The program includes four distances: the Ultra Trail (49 km, +3200 m D+), the Trail (29 km, +1600 m D+), the Trail Sprint (19 km, +870 m D+), and the Mini-Trail/Walk (9 km, +250 m D+). With varied levels of difficulty, from beginner-friendly hikes to demanding endurance challenges, the SMUT is designed for trail enthusiasts of all levels.

All races start and finish in Sul village, combining a festive community spirit with a demanding mountain running experience in central Portugal.

The hike is open to all interested participants, with a limited number of 30 spots, and includes certified guides, making it a safe and well-supported experience. The atmosphere is adventurous and inspiring, perfect for those looking to test their endurance in nature.

The Corrida de São Martinho GDR Verderena is a running race taking place on November 9, 2025, at Espaço Recreativo in Barreiro, Portugal. This event is part of the Circuito de Atletismo do Barreiro, offering participants the chance to compete in multiple races throughout the circuit with a single registration and bib number.

The race is open to all runners who register before the deadline of November 6, 2025. The atmosphere is community-oriented and supportive, organized by the Grupo Desportivo e Recreativo da Verderena with the collaboration of the Câmara Municipal do Barreiro and technical organization by Xistarca.
