Volta a Paranhos

The 2nd Carcavelos Wine Trail is a trail running and walking event scheduled for December 7, 2025, in Oeiras and Cascais, Portugal. Participants can choose between two 10 km routes: a trail run and a walk, both starting and finishing at Jardins do Marquês in Oeiras.

This event is open to all individuals over 14 years for the walk and 16 years for the trail, regardless of federation affiliation. It celebrates the unique Carcavelos wine region, the smallest wine-producing area in Portugal, offering runners and walkers a scenic course through historic vineyards of the former Estação Agronómica Nacional and the old Monastery of Santa Maria do Mar.

The atmosphere combines sporting challenge with cultural heritage promotion, providing a festive yet competitive environment. Prizes, including trophies and wine bottles, are awarded in the trail run, and both distances offer a commemorative medal and technical t-shirt, making it suitable for both serious athletes and enthusiasts interested in the region’s viticulture.

The Continental Grande Prémio de Natal is organized by the Lisbon Athletics Association and Last Lap Eventos Lda.
On 7 December 2025, the 66th Continental Grande Prémio de Natal will take place, characterized by its festive Christmas season timing and an easy course that runs through the main streets of Lisbon.
It is a road running event featuring a 10,000-metre race, a walk of approximately 4,000 metres, and other youth races with distances adjusted to each age group.

The 5th São Silvestre Vítor Baptista is a running event scheduled for December 6, 2025, in Lourinhã. This race offers a unique opportunity for runners to participate in a well-organized event marking the year’s end in a festive yet competitive atmosphere.

The race is open to all athletes, including licensed and non-licensed runners, promoting inclusivity and community participation. It features a single distance suitable for road running enthusiasts, allowing a wide range of participants to join regardless of their experience level.

The event is part of the regional athletics calendar organized by the Associação de Atletismo de Lisboa, ensuring adherence to official standards and providing a platform for athletes to compete in a recognized competition. The scenic course through Lourinhã’s streets offers a distinctive backdrop, enhancing the race experience with local charm and community spirit.

The Trail da Amizade 2025 is a trail running event taking place on December 6 and 7, 2025, in Santiago da Guarda, Ansião, Portugal. The event offers multiple distances including Ultra Trail 50k, Trail Longo 32k, Trail Curto 19k, Mini Trail 12k, and a non-competitive Caminhada (walk) of approximately 12k, with a special Trail Kids race for children aged 4 and above.

Open to all with age and physical condition requirements—some distances require participants to be over 18 years old, while others allow younger runners with parental authorization. The Trail Longo and Trail Curto are part of the 6th Municipal Championship of Ansião and may also count toward other regional or national circuits. The race features mostly technical trails, tracks, and paths in the scenic Sicó region, offering a circular route starting and finishing in the village center, combining natural beauty with physical challenge.
